Women’s Grazing Day

What a great day out! Big thanks to Katie and Terry Worthington for hosting us, and to Local Grazing Co. for the delicious catering, absolutely nailed it!

It was such a treat to hear Mel Kiel of KLR Marketing speak. I’ve always heard how good she is and she did not disappoint. Great chats on soil health, grass budgeting, and plenty of real-world insight! The paddock walk (with a shovel, naturally) really tied it all together! The soil even behaved, our first two squares showed exactly what we’d just talked about!

One thing Mel said that stuck with me:

“Make sure you have a friendship in every decade.” There’s so much we can learn from each other across ages, stages, and experiences.

We had 30 amazing women from all walks of life, and the room was just buzzing with stories, passion and shared knowledge.

Days like this remind us that shared learning and creativity are at the heart of what we do.
